Steve wants Moore attention.

Today marks the 3rd anniversary of the now infamous night that Todd Bertuzzi, along with the help of a pile of three Avalanche players, broke Steve Moore’s neck. And Moore can’t get enough of it.

Moore took part in an interview with CBC where all he did was complain about how bad his life has been since March 8, 2004. Yes, we all feel sorry for him, but it seems that he just loves the sorrow too much.

First of all, the whole situation could have been avoided. It all started when Moore was in a little race for a puck with Markus Naslund on a perpendicular angle to him. Moore won the race, tipped the puck in the other direction and went out of his way to deliver a blow to the head of Naslund, leaving him flat on his face. Naslund needed 10 stitches and had to miss the next nine games.

Don’t take a cheap shot on a star player, and it’s avoided.

So some of the Canucks vowed to get revenge on Moore the next time they played the Avalanche; this was blown out of proportion by the media who called it “putting a price on his head.”

All night, Bertuzzi wanted to drop the mits with Moore, but Moore wouldn’t have any of it.

At one point when Bertuzzi was desperately trying to fight Moore one-on-one, and Moore still wouldn’t do it, Bertuzzi took it upon himself to come from behind and take a cheap shot to the head of Moore.

Be a man and drop the mits toe-to-toe, and it’s avoided.

Then, two or three of Moore’s teammates decided to jump on the back of Bertuzzi, who was on top of Moore, ultimately drilling Moore’s head into the ice.

Avalanche player’s don’t crush Moore into the ice, and it’s avoided.

So unfortunate incidents, two of which were Moore’s fault, could have prevented Moore’s broken neck, and now Moore is saying that Bertuzzi has never even apologized?

Bertuzzi held a press conference specifically to issue an apology to Moore, and was in tears  doing so.

“To tell you the truth, I don’t even want an apology, I have nothing to say to him,” said Moore. Which brings into question, why he would even bring the fact that he’s never been apologized too.

Moore has a HUGE lawsuit issued on Bertuzzi, Brad May, and the Vancouver Canucks franchise which is most likely going to leave Moore a very rich man. His parents are also suing for a large sum of money.

So what more does he want? He’s an attention whore, and just loves the fact that everyone feels sorry for him. A real man would refuse that CBC interview because a real man would have moved on by now.

He’s got the attention, he’s getting the money, he’ll probably be back in the league within the next few years, and he still can’t get enough.

What are your thoughts on the future potential of David Beckham coming to play a friendly in Vancouver, given the fact that he will soon be playing SOCCER in North America?

I can’t believe Steve Moore actually thinks he was destined to be a star?!? How incredibly arrogant of him to think he is worth $19 million or whatever he is suing Todd Bertuzzi and the Vancouver Canucks organization!

And the idiotic suit that his parents are seeking! Who do these people think they are? God’s gift to hockey?!?

If the bonehead officials had made Moore accountable for his actions, nothing would ever happened between Bertuzzi and Moore. Things wouldn’t have gotten so out of hand if they had done SOMEthing when Moore deliberately injured Naslund.
